Poseidon Hotel’s Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms
A 25% deposit will be required within 7 days from your online booking with the remaining balance due at least 28 days prior to your booking commencement date.
Payment can be made via PayPal, Credit/Debit Card or via Direct Bank Transfer (BACS). Please call Helen on 0044 (0)1769 520809 or 0044 (0)7809 833907.
Failure to pay the deposit within the allotted time frame will result in your dates being made re-advertised.
Additional costs
Any additional services eg maid service, equipment hire, etc must be paid at least 28 days prior to your booking commencement date.
Included
Linen, towels and electricity is included in your stay (except infants linen/blankets).
Reservation Confirmation
Confirmation details with agreed extra services will be delivered to you in a reservation confirmation e-mail once your deposit has been processed. This e-mail, along with your passport, need to be presented upon arrival.

Check-in : 14:00 – 00:00
Check-out : 10.00
Early check-in or late check-out upon request and subject to availability
Pets
Pets are not allowed to stay at the hotel
Disabled Access
Poseidon Hotel does not have any rooms with disabled access. We have ground floor apartments but there is a small flight of 5 steps leading up to them. Poseidon Hotel is located in a relatively level part of Kassiopi with a very gently slope leading down into the village.
Parking
Poseidon Hotel does not have private parking facilities. A public car park is available within 10 meters of the hotel and there is limited on street parking.
Damages or Losses
The hotel expects guests to behave in a responsible manner. Any guest damaging hotel property or disturbing other guests will be expected to pay for any damage and be asked to leave the hotel without any refund.
The occupiers agree to keep the apartments and all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the apartment in the same state of repair as at the commencement of the occupancy, and shall leave the accommodation in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. Any damages, spillages or special cleaning services required will be charged to the occupants.
Valuables and Security
The Poseidon Hotel will not be liable for any theft or damage to guests’ property or for any injury or illness suffered by guests. We recommend you have adequate insurance cover for any such incidents.
The Poseidon Hotel will not be held liable and no refunds will be given for any services not available due to adverse weather conditions, power cuts, industrial action, civil unrest or acts of god. We will however do our best to resume normal service as soon as possible.
Tourist Taxes
Your payment includes all tourist taxes associated with your stay so there are no surcharges to pay.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation more than 28 days before arrival date will incur loss of deposit.
Cancellation 7-28 days before arrival date will incur 50% charge.
Cancellation 0-7 days before arrival date will incur 100% charge.
No Show will incur 100% charge.
In the event of premature departure the full extent of the stay cost as originally booked and confirmed will be charged. This includes any payments made for extra services.

Complaints
We hope you have an enjoyable stay with us. Please bring to our attention anything you are not satisfied with during your stay and we will do our best to rectify it.

General Terms
The promoter is: Poseidon Tourist Enterprises S.A (company no. 094168331) whose registered office is at Corfu, Greece.
The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Poseidon Tourist Enterprises S.A and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
Closing date for entry will be 1st January 2019. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

The prize is as follows: The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.

Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen: at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents.
The winner will be notified by email and Facebook within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected, delivered or redeemed.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

21. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
22. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Poseidon Tourist Enterprises S.A and not to any other party.
​23. Poseidon Tourist Enterprises S.A‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
24. The entrant must be following @PoseidonHotelKassiopi on Facebook in order to claim their prize.
25. Poseidon Tourist Enterprises S.A shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
Poseidon Tourist Enterprises S.A also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
